Editorial policy
Spirited City Briefing aims to make writing about urban interiors specific, readable and accountable. We explain the basis of our claims, separate observation from interpretation and revise the record when something is wrong.
Accuracy and clarity
We check factual statements against suitable, available material and take care not to turn a design preference into a universal claim. Where an article discusses a particular place or object, its scope should be clear. We do not present professional, safety or regulatory advice.
Independence and partnerships
Editorial decisions are made for reader relevance and clarity. Paid placements and sponsored material are identified clearly as such; they are kept distinct from editorial articles. A partnership does not guarantee editorial coverage or a favourable view.
Corrections
Readers can report errors through the Contact page. We review correction requests, update material when warranted and make meaningful changes clear to readers where appropriate. Questions of interpretation may be explained without changing a factual record.
Images and illustrations
Images are selected to support the subject and should not be mistaken for proof of a claim. Some illustrations may be AI-generated; these are identified where they appear. We do not use an illustration to imply that a depicted place is a documented real location.
